Tigers, music, rides, deep fried twinkies, a and rodeo make a great State Fair! We had so much fun with Family at the Utah State Fair. It was only like the 4th time in my life I have ever been to a Fair. We paid $35 to ride the Farris Wheel, one small roller coaster, one kiddie ride, and have Jason throw some balls to break a bottle for a toy (which we lost 5 minutes after winning). If you ever need to blow $$ out your ears there’s no better place to do it than a good ol’ State Fair!
Josh explored new levels of independence while at the fair too. I have to admit I was nervous letting him ride a ride alone. (I even tried sitting on the kiddie ride with him when I “had to go in and make sure he was seated properly”) I was kicked out. So, I dismounted the ride and watched Josh with mixed emotion as the ride started up. I was sure he would look nervous or start calling out my name….but no. I LOVED being on that ride all by himself.
